Noel Brooks Seminars

[Building information on the dates and content of these seminars]

2003 - The first seminar was held. "This fall marks the beginning of the Noel Brooks Lecture Series at Southwestern Christian University. Our goal for the lectures is to provide a forum for the doctrine of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church to be emphasized and studied.  The topic for the first semester is Sanctification with Rev. Terry Tramel, professor at Southwestern Christian University. Four sessions will be held each semester, with a new topic of study and speaker each semester. The fall 2003 lectures are scheduled for September 23, October 28, November 18, and December 2 at 7 p.m. in the Minchew Auditorium. Guests are welcome to join us for the Noel Brooks Lecture Series. We are looking forward to God moving mightily through these lectures." It was signed Joe Francisco, Eagles' Eye (2003).

2006-  The last seminar was held. The topic was    .  It featured seminars by Terry Tramel, Ken Young, Marvin Hudson, Spencer Ledbetter...

2011 or 2012 - The lecture series is reintroduced. Our goal for the lectures is to provide a forum for exploring the theology, history, doctrines, development, and challenges of Christian life through a distinctively Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Holiness perspective. The emphasis will be on modeling through speakers and content the integration of faith and learning as dynamic partners in influencing the world with the message of the Gospel. The focus will be on program content that will be globally diverse, scripturally sound, spiritually vital, and academically rich. Our first audience is our campus (students, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni) but we gladly welcome visitors from the community.   Content is expected to be broad and the potentials unlimited.   We will eventually look to publishing the content of these lectures as part of a fund-raising effort to establish a Noel Brooks Memorial Library and Pentecostal Research Center.
