The SCU Library seeks to develop the SCU ARCHIVES, established in 1968 by then President Scott Muse, as a quality resource for preserving institutional history for prosterity, insitutional assessment, and long range planning. LIIMITATIONS:
Due to space and preservation limitations we can only accept the following items - historic items, logo apparrel, reports, faculty resumes, annuals, etc.
ALWAYS WELCOME DONATIONS OF --
- Historic significance
- Books by SCU alums,staff, faculty, or administrators
- Biographical information on alums, faculty, administration, regents, boards, etc.
- Biographical information for alums, staff, faculty, or administrators (resumes, articles, etc.)
- Quality books on Pentecostalism
What We Cannot Accept -
- Old textbooks
- Worn, tattered materials (except in cases of a rare, one- of- a- kind record)
- Materials requiring special preservation processes or security
- Items requiring specialized or rare equipment (16 mm, etc.)

GENERAL DONATION/GIFT GUIDELINES.
All Personal items are accepted only under the following:
Library Director has final say on what is accepted and added to the collection.
- Items we are unable to use will be made available to students, faculty and/or other libraries.
- Donors should prepare their own list of items donated.
- Donors must ask for a letter to be used for tax purposes and assign their own monetary worth to those items (Library will not appraise donations).
- All items accepted will be added to the general collections and will not be placed in special collections (except as mandated by the Archives Mission), on loan, or other limited or special instructions.
NOTICE: WE ACCEPT WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT WHAT WE CANNOT USE WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO OTHER COLLECTIONS, FACULTY, OR LOCAL LIBRARIES:
